  • My husband and I finally decided to check out Vivace for brunch. I will go on the record and say that this place is now my favorite Sunday brunch spot!! We arrived right at 12 and realized we should have made a reservation. Fortunately, they were able to squeeze us in at a spot upstairs (excellent city views). For $25 you get bottomless mimosas and bloody marys and then an appetizer and a main. Throughout the whole meal, the drinks were flowing. I opted for mimosas and my husband the bloody. They just had pitchers and would keep refilling! For appetizer, I got the baked oysters and my husband got the meatballs. The oysters were absolutely fantastic. Baked with cheese and some small lobster bites. The meatballs were equally as tasty and the sauce was perfect. For mains, I got the shrimp and grits and my husband got the fried chicken and gravy sandwich. The shrimp and grits were very good....large shrimp! However, we both decided that the chicken and gravy sandwich was the winner. Excellent combination of flavors! So excited that we discovered this brunch as it will definitely be a regular spot!
