| - Fantastic meal in Vegas, I much appreciated their toasted GF bread (still trying to figure out where they source this, it actually taste like bread!) and their separate GM menu of tasty offerings, along with a much larger normal menu selection.
French onion soup was fantastically gooey, cheesy, and melty. The classic steak was delicious and tender, (although I have to say I MISS steak poivre... can someone please make one of those gluten-free?), and very much enjoyed the pairing of sour cabbage to balance out the rich flavors of the fattier duck comfit.
The ambiance was fantastic inside (note: there IS a line and wait to sit outside, so come early if you wish to do so and you will get also get a view of the Bellagio fountain across the street), we opted not to wait and I'm glad because the place is really adorably cute inside.
It's not "really" French, and more Americanized French cuisine. But I've loved this place from DC to Vegas, and especially now that I have to be GF, I'm so glad Mon Ami Gabi is still an option on my list of restaurants, and I look forward to coming back soon! (or to the Bethesda location)
Paws up, hungry cat approves! (puts on little Parisian artsy black hat)
