  • I spent about 2-3 years trying a slew of different stylists in hopes of finding someone who could just do my hair with no fail. I've tried a number of salons in the city at various price points and I've found most of them were very underwhelming for the price I paid. I'm very much willing to pay good money to get my hair done, but if I'm paying $100+ I want something that lasts a good 3-4 months and can be worn straight out of the shower. So after 3 years I decided to hunt Grant down who cut my hair and did my ombre originally at Robin Baker. Thankfully he was very easy to find through instagram so I booked an appointment asap. He actually remembered me after all these years which was unexpected since ha it literally has been that long since I went to him. If you have long, thick wavy hair like me, Grant does wonders when it comes to cutting bulk and shaping. He's very patient, detailed and you can tell he really loves what he does. He also loves to curling hair haha so he was very happy when I obliged to some styling after my cut. I felt bad my hair took much longer than usual to do since there was so much to cut but I never felt rushed through the appointment. Happy to say I've washed and styled my hair a few times and it's been very easy to manage (the sign of a great chop!)
