  • The donuts are really good! However..... Here's what's not so awesome.... They run out of regular donuts around 10/11am and will offer you higher price donuts to make a dozen (this is the only donut place that doesn't give you a bakers dozen & since when has a chocolate bar been 1.50 more? ) and then upcharges you so a dozen costs 15+ dollars. The first time I went there, I paid cash. I don't usually carry cash, for a number of reasons. The 2nd & 3rd time I went there, the lady was so rude and obnoxious about me paying cash (I had 2 1's hanging out of my wallet) they have a 5 dollar minimum credit card purchase. Since my purchase was 19.56 I was going to use my credit card. I was given hell about it both times. I know merchant fees are hard on a business, I'd gladly pay .50 cents (which I really shouldn't have too) if I'm buying almost 20.00 in donuts. There's a definite language barrier, which makes it even more difficult. The way she acts over taking cash makes me wonder if she's being honest about taxes. Which isn't my concern, I use my CC everywhere I can, for cash back, frequent flyer miles and for purchase protection. The long and short of it is, Awesome donuts, HUGE attitude about taking credit cards and shady upselling. They have awesome ham & cheese croissants, but at 4 bucks a piece, it's a bit expensive.
