My teenage daughter and her friends are cupcake freaks so we tried this cute little shop for the first time right after they opened. We were met with friendly service, they offered cake bite samples and made us all feel at home. I thought that the top of my cupcake at the time was a bit hard and the inside too gooey but I just let it slide. The second time I went in was yesterday. My daughter was having her friends over so I thought I would pick some up as a treat. When I went in the woman behind the counter was just downright rude. She seemed annoyed to wait on customers. I told her about my hard/gooey experience from the last time we visited and she told me that their ovens were hard to control and basically there was nothing that could be done. She assured me that every single cupcake in the case was baked that morning so I went ahead with my purchase. Again we were disappointed. The coconut creme cupcake had a filling in it that was so rubbery and hard it could be used as a super ball. Obviously this was not filled this morning. The other cupcakes varied between crunchy on top and a bit underdone in the middle, this may be a possible health hazard, eating undercooked baked goods. Too bad, we really wanted to love this place but at almost 3.00 per cupcake I think there are better choices out there.
