| - I wish there was a 0 option. Worse Pandora store ever. This is a review for the store at the RBC center. I don't normally write reviews but I specifically created Yelp account just to do so. Now I'm all about second chances, but this just takes the cake for me. I understand all Pandora stores are franchised so it's basically hit or miss depending on the owner of that particular store and how their customer service practices are. My first experience with dealing with the staff at this store is as follows: Pandora was having one of their ever-so-famous bracelet promos where if you spent $150 you received a free silver barrel clasp bracelet. Score. My boyfriend just bought me a bracelet and I wanted to fill it up with charms. I called the store because I've seen about 6 items they wanted (They advised me I could get 2 bracelets instead of 1 because I was spending $300+). Great. So I asked them to put a few items on hold for me. I wanted the royal crown charm, a couple of muranos, a couple of two tones. The sales girl advised me that she couldn't put the royal crown charm on hold because it was a "popular" charm and it was first come first serve, but she could put the rest on hold only until tonight at 8pm. At this point, in my head I was thinking, I'm honestly spending more than $300 and I would spend more for future promos so why am I rushing to spend my money when these people don't even care to take it? So I politely asked the sales girl whether she can put the crown on hold too because I don't want to go to the store and they don't have everything I want. She said she'd asked her manager. Puts me on a 10 minute power hold then comes back and tells me no. At this point, I was annoyed and didn't want to deal with these people so I went elsewhere.
Second time, bought a silver bracelet to this Pandora location in order to change sizes because the other one was too big for me. The girls nametag said "Assistant Manager" and she inspected my bracelet for about 10 minutes and tells me that it is not in "perfect" condition and said that if I look really closely and squint in the light I could see discolouration. I was confused since I literally purchased the bracelet less than 48 hours ago and kept all the original packaging it came in... She told me to take it back to the store I bought it from. I live downtown and I bought that bracelet from the Pandora at Don Mills because they have all the charms I wanted. Again, very annoying experience.
So I travelled about 15 minutes to the Pandora at the Holt Renfrew Center. They exchanged it within 2 minutes with no problem. They are always willing to go the extra mile to help you with your purchases and whatever you may need, colors, sizes etc. Plus they are way more friendly.
Do not go to the Pandora at the RBC center. The people who work there are not worth your time, and neither is their customer service. Just because your store is holding a promotion doesn't mean your customer service should disintegrate.
