| - Three years since my original stay and review, I just spent three more nights here. It's still a great place to stay. It's only a two block walk from the Metro and four quick stops to Place Des Arts, where the jazz festival is going on. The hotel breakfast is a hot one, not just continental. If you don't want a crowd, get up early and go...otherwise, it can be very busy. Although not the most lavish hotel by any stretch, it's clean and comfy. The parking is convenient below the building, which is an additional cost...but reasonable, especially in American dollars. The only challenge with the hotel is the elevators (2) can sometimes take a while. But, heck, if you're on vacation...just relax...what's the rush? :-) Oh, I can't forget to mention the staff...which is great and friendly. Adeline the front desk manager was helpful, as was Teal. The person I dealt with the most was awesome...Lydia!
This will continue to be my go to hotel in Montreal, especially during Jazz Fest.
