| - Gonna give this place 4 stars because they were missing a couple things....
First let's start with the good... Me and two friends arrived about 10:30 or so on a Tuesday. It was just about $10 without drink and $12 and change with drink. Service was pretty decent, nothing to complain about there. My first plate had a sweet potato, a little bit of salad, and a couple deviled eggs, all which were pretty good.
Second plate had a piece of fried chicken and a piece of bbq chicken along with a mini corn dog and some cornbread with corn... or something along those lines. All of these were pretty good but the corn dog did seem a bit crunchy.
Third plate had some shrimp, some sweet potato casserole, some Bourbon chicken, and some meatloaf with mashed potatoes. The sweet potato casserole was simply amazing, probably one of the best dishes I had for lunch, but the meatloaf was missing sauce..... it was still pretty good with some gravy from the mashed potatoes but I prefer the sauce that is supposed to come on meatloaf.
Desert plate: I was a bit disappointed because they usually have a chocolate lava cake and chocolate cream pie but I didn't see either. HOWEVER, the banana cream pie was amazing, and I did have a nice brownie with some soft serve ice cream, nuts, hot fudge, and whipped cream.
Overall I'd come back if I was in the area, but for the most part I'd probably stick to Old Country Buffet for similar food.
