| - The actual work was fine, I had one tree trimmed and the job was completed satisfactorily. Everything was going well until the calls and text messages from the owner Troy asking for his "200 bucks". We arranged the evening when the job was completed that I would call him next morning to make a payment; since they weren't prepared to take a CC payment at the job site. Before I even woke up next day, I worked until 4am so naturally I wake up a little later, my phone was flooded by calls from several numbers and texts asking to get paid. One of the employees sent a message that said he would come see me face to face to collect payment. None of that was necessary. One call and a voicemail would have sufficed. There was an agreement made the night before that I would call and make a payment next morning, I never even got the chance to do that before being bombarded with calls and texts by the owner. When I woke up, around 10am, I called spoke to a lady who took down my payment information, and made the payment. She was actually really nice, perhaps she should be the one dealing with customers. Also, it is 2017 and if you have a cell phone there is no excuse why you can't take a payment at the job site. I was also promised a receipt, guess what no receipt for payment. No receipt for what work was done. Nothing. The guys showed up, left. Payment was taken over the phone, no confirmation number. Tree looks good, rest of the experience was not so much.
