| - This salon has become such a huge disappointment. First off, I have been coming here for a couple years and have always been happy with the manicure and pedicure that I've gotten. HOWEVER, the service here has gotten so rude and although it has never been customer service oriented, it's hitting new levels of neglect and disappointment.
My honey wanted to treat me to something special after lunch, so we opted for a manicure for me and a pedicure for him. His first one. They started in on his pedi right away and I had to wait for service which was fine, thanks to an empty massage chair. Then I was kicked out of the massage chair by a younger female worker who didn't speak English, but motioned me to go sit at the manicure table, which I did. I thought she was ready to work in my nails. She then said something loud and snarky in Vietnamese and shooed me away from the table. Oooooh k....Went back to the massage chair to sit next to my honey.
Watched one worker bring out a bowl of cut up fruit and share it with another worker who was sitting idly at her nail station. Odd and unsanitary.
Then the stupid part: EVERY worker at the salon started having a fit about one of the larger fish in their tank nipping at some of the other fish in the tank. They literally stopped working on customers and were gathering around the tank talking loudly and trying to use a net to get at the fish!!! Mind you, we had already been here an hour and my nails had still not been started on. My honey was irritated because he was left sitting there with some burning foot lotion/gel on his feet and NO ONE was paying attention to customers!!!! What's more important, customers or your oversized goldfish?! They took photos if the fish and stood around looking at the pics. WTF.
I honestly felt stupid for bringing my honey here. The service was horrible and NO ONE cared. I have a hard time being yapped at and motioned to in a foreign language. A basic (and courteous) understanding of the English language goes a long way in customer service. And no one likes to sit there while people talk shit in Vietnamese. Not a pleasant experience at all.
Wound up getting my nails done, for the last time here. Paid $70 for both the mani & pedi plus a VERY generous tip, given the circumstance. Any recommendations for a better experience, please message me. NOT happy with this place.
