| - I had heard many good things about Mint, so I was excited to give it a whirl with their new location being so close to home.
My BBF and I tried their lunch buffet ($14.99pp) and we both felt that it was just okay. A couple things that influenced our decision was the selection and the overall spiciness. I understand their spiciness is appropriate (according to a friend from India), however, it was a bit too spicy for us to enjoy. That was disappointing since it affected dishes that we are normally able to eat.
I was really sad they didn't have Chicken Makhani or Samosa. I don't always find Makhani, so that wouldn't have been a huge deal, but no Samosa?! Also, their Garlic Naan was not great. The fresh garlic butter concoction is applied prior to the Tandoor, so it's obviously burnt in the process (seriously, burnt garlic is gross). It's also sparse and sadly lacking that wonderful garlicky flavor. Things I did enjoy: Goat Curry, Vegetable Korma, and Vegetable Pakora.
I've been told their dinner is much stronger and the spicy level can be dialed down, so I may need to give them another chance!
