  • Upon hearing a few years ago that an AMC was opening at Yonge & Dundas, I was pretty unhappy. I thought this place would turn into a shitey suburban mall a la Midwest with their love for everything in excess.* I actually love this location of AMC for their amazing screens, cleanliness, top notch movie options/timings and customer service. I left something in one of the theater rooms sometime ago and they were super helpful about retrieving it. Also, I've yet to see a speck around one of the seats and there is always an employee waiting outside to clean just as the movie ends. I can be sure that one of the less mainstream movies will be playing here allowing me to make last minute decisions without having to sit through a Vin Diesel movie in resignation. If they'd change the concession options to include more variety, I'd make this my go-to theatre in a heartbeat. --------------------------------------- *Mental images of a Toronto-esque 'Big Island' in Super Mario World 3 might be more appropriate.
