| - Yes, tickets for a Saturday night movie are expensive. But I see how the price differential makes sense. I like that you can choose your seats ahead of time, especially for popular movie premieres. To get through the ticket lines earlier, I suggest using the kiosks outside since many people don't know how to use them (they accept Visa or Mastercard only. The snack area does not have as many cashiers as a big movie theatre, so if you plan to get a snack prior to a primetime show, come early! Students can get a 2 for 1 movie deal on Tuesday, but both students must have school photo ID present.
In the last year or two, it seems that Sundance has started showing more big box office films (Harry Potter, Twilight, etc) rather than focusing exclusively on smaller films. I think that's OK, but I think some purists may be upset about this.
I like Sundance because I like my guaranteed seats, conveniently located, and clean theatre seating area.
