  • Although it is almost two years, I am writing this review because I have met so many others who have been scammed and misled by Mac Masters. I am so very angry and disgusted with this company, especially when I read all of the other reviews that echo the same issue. Since I wrote the first review (8/4/2012) I have tremendous and total regret about ever walking into Mac Masters. I was at the Apple Store recently after the initial "repair", and they even informed me that Apple does FREE diagnostics. The repairman at Apple, as well as every other person I have told about this scam, said a repair on my DINOSAUR LAP TOP SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN DONE. I have met many people who have been to this store, and were given an estimate and then double charged like me. My laptop has had troubles ever since the "repair." I took it back there once or twice, and asked the owner/manager?? for a refund. He refused and said it was as "good" as it could be. THEN WHY DID MAC MASTERS REPAIR IN THE FIRST PLACE?? He gave me a small bottle of screen cleaner to try and appease me. hahaha! He also contacted me and asked if I would amend my first review or remove it. I am not a wealthy person, and could have used the money toward a new tablet or laptop. Most of all, I do not like being lied to and taken advantage of. I hope others will read all of the reviews that show the truth about this scamming Mac Masters!!
