  • I cannot possibly speak highly enough about Dr. Bennett or his staff. When moving my birds here 7 years ago he was the aviary's first recommendation, and I couldn't be more thankful. After periodically switching our cats' vets over the past 11 years it wasn't soon before they, too, soon moved to be exclusive patients of Dr. Bennett's (except in dire, dire emergency of course). The compassion in his eyes when he speaks to the animals -- ALL of the animals -- is undeniable, paired closely with his passion and kindness. Regardless of reason for visit, he's always very thorough and explains things in depth, making sure you understand everything you need to know, as well as making certain that you don't leave before knowing the answers to any questions you may have. He truly makes you feel like you and your pet are his only clients for the day. I really could go on, and on. That being said, it absolutely breaks my heart -- and terrifies me -- that I will soon be moving across the country and losing one of the best people I've ever worked with. Someone has big shoes to fill in order to live up to the standards that Dr. Bennett has created, and I've now come to expect, in a vet (for the birds especially, as avian specialists are more difficult to find)..... Quite frankly, I really wish he would just take me up on the offer to help relocate him; his is a business I am truly not looking forward to leave behind.
