  • I don't know how I haven't reviewed Lazy Janes yet. SCONES. SO MUCH HAPPY. It's one of my favorite, favorite brunch places in Madison. Super low key (choose your own seat, get your own silverware, pick up your meal, bus your own table... you get the idea), delicious food, bottomless iced tea.. YAY. I enjoy ordering off their specials board because I get the most awesome things there! They had a spinach omelette with pesto and it was unreal, some other scramble type options that have been just great. I love their on-the-menu chorizo scramble too, so it's not just the specials! Their potatoes are so good, too. Nicely sized and seasoned. Now that they also take credit cards, it's basically a perfect place. My only qualm--the lines. Whew, you can wait for a while to order, and a while for the food. Overall worth it, but I hesitate coming here after 10am on the weekends.
