  • (First, apologies to the Rad Air in Westlake, for whom I mis-posted the following review of the Medina location. No hard feelings? I took that review down.) Bought a gently-driven, pre-owned... okay, it was a used car. But it was in really nice condition, with one complaint: the heating and a/c often became confused and switched over to heat when it was 95 out, or to a/c when it was 20 out. I tried to have my own wrench fix it, but the dealer took it to RadAir, then told us it was good to go. It was neither good, or to go. We took it back to them, asked them to fix it, and they said, "Leave it here for a few days." Sure, it's an extra car, go ahead. They said something had come loose, a sensor, a censor, a censure, I'm not sure. Told us it was good to go. No. Go. Back we went, only now we really needed the car, as another was having some work done on it, by our regular wrench. "Leave it here for a few days." Nope. I will not do that. You see, here's what I believe: If you didn't fix it right the first time, and then didn't fix it right the second time, either, then YOU ARE NOT DONE WITH THE JOB. You take the car in, you put the other work on hold, and you get it done while I'm standing there. Drove down the road, to a real mechanic, who does real repairs, and he fixed it. Rad Air gets one star because they were always professional, have a wall of awards and maybe they assumed (correctly) that I wouldn't become a customer. You shouldn't, either.
