| - I was so excited for this activity, I found them through Groupon and looked it up on Yelp and saw great reviews. The Groupon 2 hour ride was cheaper than the 1 hour ride, so I decided to book the 2 hour ride for my group.
Our ride started at 3pm (on a Sunday), and we arrived 30 minutes prior, just as we were instructed to do so. There was no one there, but we saw a whiteboard with a note that they were out on a ride, so they'll return at 3:15pm. I did not like that we had to wait 45 minutes outdoors in the heat with limited seating. Don't forget, it's a stable, so it really smells, and there are tons of flies roaming around.
We signed our waivers and waited for the group to arrive. Once our group was ready to head out, we got onto our horses and were given a very quick tutorial on how to steer our horse left, right, back, and how to stop our horse. We heading out to our trail, and no joke, it was 1.5 hours of the same scenery. We went in a really long loop, some uphill, and some downhill. I was not impressed. I was also pretty scared, because many times, the horses would literally trip on the rocky trail.
For those that want to book a ride, I would recommend a 1 hour ride. My butt hurt for a few days.
