  • I really enjoyed my spa experience at the MGM's Grand Spa. I stayed at the MGM Signature and the spa is located right at the end of the tunnel for Tower 1. The spa location feels very isolated from the casino and i found it to be very relaxing. You receive a robe, sandals, and a locker to store your belongings. You also get an option for a Safety Deposit box during your treatments. I was also informed that I could return to the spa any time after my treatments to use the amenities. I booked the 50 min aromatherapy massage with Wendy and found it to be soothing and relaxing. There were 5 essential oils for me to choose from and I picked to for the service. After I went for a quick steam in the steam room and relaxed in the dry sauna. There was also a Jacuzzi spa available to use. I grabbed an iced cucumber towel and relaxed in the relaxation room before I hit the shower. Showers had great supplies: razor, shaving cream, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and shower caps available. The changing rooms are stocked with combs, brushes toiletries and beauty supplies including hair dryers and flat irons. There were 2 negatives that I would point out. The relaxation room was rather petite in comparison to the rest of the spa. After my treatment and using the sauna i really wanted to be able to just sit for a few minutes are enjoy the relaxation. I booked a 9:30am appt and when i arrived, the spa only had a few guests. But when i came back from my treatment, it filled up and there wasn't a spot to relax, just a few up right chairs. Also, the spa attendants... one in particular, who brought me to the locker, was just not very nice and seemed annoyed at being at work. When I was wrapping up after my shower a guest was not satisfied with her treatment and the manager came to speak to her. They held their discussion right in front the of the locker room in the hall way. I felt it was unprofessional and the manager should have taken her aside so that the whole spa did not have to hear their conversation. Over all, i'd give the spa a 3.5 and would try it again with a different treatment!
