  • This is the brand new Bingo Hall at Palace Station Casion. Having played hundreds of bingo sessions all over this city, I can tell you this Bingo hall is perhaps among the worst. Let me start off by saying that the hall itself is very nice. It's modern, clean and comfortable. The small machines are new and the displays on the walls are clear and bright. The smoking section is behind glass. Unfortunately, the bingo itself is bad for a few reasons. If you compare the pay schedules of the sessions and games at Palace Station to the pay schedules of the sessions and games at other Station casions, you will see that Palace Station pays much less. For example, the 3:00 session at other Staion casinos is a double-pay session with three coveralls with a max coverall payout of $500 (Green and tan cards). The 3:00 session at Palace is regular pay and the max coverall payout is $300. I compared the other sessions and pay schedules to other properties and they just don't match up. Also, the room was very crowded for a 3:00 session. With that, the session did not actually start until 3:07. It's rare to see a session start that late at any bingo hall anywhere. When I purchased my cards, I told the person behind the counter that I wanted "Special N" on a small machine, validated. Before I could give tell her the rest of my order she says, "How much money do you want to spend?" I repeated myself. She than asks me, "Do you want that on a small or large machine?" The first caller was horrible. Her voice was soft and faint. We could not understand this person. She spoke very slowly and made an incorrect announcement about how the bonus ball payout works. She said anyone who bingos on B5 will win an additional $500. It's actually $1000. She failed to mention that anyone who bingos on a ball ending in the number 5 gets an additional $500. She was so slow that we did not complete the 4th game until after 3:30. They took a long time validating winners and forgot to pay $100 to someone sitting at my table. We had to ask where the money was. The next caller could not pronounce the balls correctly. If it was "G number 60", it sounded like she was saying "B number 60". This happened on every G-ball. She did not announce the cash-ball when it was drawn. We wanted some drinks but the server didn't come around. Then, we see her on the floor serving drinks. Turns out that she offered drinks to people at their seats BEFORE the session started. Why would you do that? There's about 20 people in line getting cards. Their beverage station is not finished, so you can't go up there and get a drink. For a brand-new bingo hall, they haven't ironed out all the wrinkles. If you are into bingo at all, I can tell you there is no reason to play here. Why would you? The pay schedules are poor, the callers are awful and the room is crowded.
