  • I've always enjoyed Nando's. Used to be a regular when I lived in Vancouver. Was happy to see they eventually made their way to Calgary. We do not eat here as often as hubs would like (he loves it), but when we do we are never disappointed. Now having said that I will say there is one thing that does disappoint...the fact they do not serve milk! Moving on we stopped into Nando's last night on our way out for a movie. Hubs had been wanting to go for awhile. My daughter and I both ordered chicken pitas, hubs had a half chicken and my boy had the chicken skewer. Everything was great except my hot peri peri chicken pita was dang hot and the beer / water was not helping to cool down my mouth LOL (milk might have helped!!). I still proceeded to dip my fries in the hot sauce (call me crazy). The food was yummy and I love that you are able to buy a bottle of their peri-peri sauce to take home. They also offer take out which is a great idea for a picnic in the park or an easy meal on a hot summer day. Service was decent, we were able to order, grab a table...and have our food arrrived shortly after. We'll be back!
