  • This hotel was rated 3.5 stars when it should have been 2. The location is good, very close to a lot of restaurants and things to do. Also they have free parking and breakfast. The lobby of the hotel is a bit dated but clean. The carpet in the hallways to the rooms are filthy. The carpet is bunched up in places posing a tripping hazard. It smells horrible! The wallpaper is coming off in most places that you look. At 9am the maids were already outside vacuming so sleeping in wasn't an option. The two worst things are the plumbing and the pool. The toilet would not flush correctly. Even after #1 there was still toilet paper in the toilet and after #2 the toilet required 4 flushes over 45 minutes to flush completely leaving the room smelling horribly. We decided to go to the pool to escape only to discover that the pool was discusting. It had not been cleaned in a long time, the water was green/gray. Clearly the filter or pump was out. There was a birthday party in the pool area so there were no free chairs to even sun bathe on. Also the birthday party trash was everywhere as well as toddlers with no diapers on on the water. I wouldn't go back if the room was free.
