  • My house was entered in later october 2014 while we were out of town. Several items taken but there was no damage to the inside of the house. I didn't want this to happen again. My wife and I are elderly and we don't want a confrontation with some one breaking into our house again. I thought about all the options and decided metal shutters was the best option. I had some trouble with the HOA so I decided to have the shutters installed inside of my house. I am glad I did and they look great. Anyway the punch line is the burglar returned three days after the shutters were installed. It was about 7:00 PM and we heard a window breaking. The burglar didn't know what to do when he encountered the metal shutter. He started to beat on the shutters and I got out of my chair ten feet away and beat on the shutter my self. Then I heard the burglars say lets get out of here. The amazing thing was I think the burglars had entered a house about a block away. When the Police Officer came to my house, He said the house down the street was trashed. The owners were afraid to enter there house until the Police Officer arrived. I think the shutters pain for them selfs in three days.
