| - We got a fair deal, but not without fighting for it.
We searched online and liked the prices we saw. We, called and confirmed they had all 3 cars we liked and within 45 minutes we were there. To our surprise, 2 of the 3 cars we had just called about were JUST sold (really?)....Anyway, they had very similar cars we could look at though....
The thing we didn't like is that the salesperson asked "How much do you want to pay a month?" Why would that matter? We knew our budget, we searched online for the best listed price, we came in with the printed papers, we estimated what our monthly payment would be based on our down payment.... This is when we knew we were going to have to watch everything they did.
Then we get to finance, which took forever. Did they only have 1 person working Sunday afternoon? He had the paperwork for the car they supposedly had already sold which we did want initially...so that was corrected and finally the right paperwork for the right car was provided. Then we looked at all the fees. It's a mandatory paint protection for 3 years, mandatory lifetime tinted windows fee, which we were not informed of prior to going to finance. They pointed it was in the estimate on the intent to buy form we signed, which is identified as "dealer fees"...really, that couldn't just be spoken to us?
We really had to fight back to get some things moved around and get the deal we went in for. When we were done with our purchase I come out to my brand new car and there's a scratch on the tint...the floors are dirty, no user manual, and we don't have floor mats. He gave me the key and walked away. Per our previous experience with another Nissan dealer, the salesperson went over the warranty and all the buttons in the car and how to get a hold of everyone and showed us all these things on the car that were not necessarily needed but appreciated. Pinnacle Nissan salesperson didn't do anything above or beyond selling me the car!
I went in a couple of days later to get free floor mats and the tint redone per my lifetime warranty but my floors under the mats were not fully cleaned. Angela was nice though....and she's 1 of the 2 stars I gave this review.
When the GM emailed me about my experience after purchasing my car I emailed him back with my satisfaction and disapprovals. I never received a return email or any form of acknowledgment of my experience at this location.
I filled out the survey as well and based on my 2 stars I'm sure you can guess how I rated everything.
I'm satisfied with my car and my deal, but only because I know how hard it was to get it and how much I had to fight for what I wanted and expected.
