| - I just came back from Camelback Collision Center. I first need to tell my story from the beginning. My car was sideswiped by a city bus. The only damage to my car was the passenger sideview mirror. The accident occurred on December 2, 2017. I proceeded to take my vehicle to Camelback Collision for an estimate. Their estimate was over $1,000! I thought to myself that this was quite high just to repair a mirror. I submitted the estimate to the insurance company. They too questioned the amount, but approved the amount and sent the check to the center. The center told me they could not fix my car before Christmas. Keep in mind the accident happened on December 2nd. I then took my car back to the center on December 26, 2017. I kept getting text messages saying they needed to do more (?) repairs and needed another (almost) $1,000!! Finally they contacted me and I picked up my car on January 8,2018. They informed me that they needed the "supplemental" amount of $962.00. The insurance company sent me the check, in which I assured them that I would sign over to them. By now, they started calling me begging me to bring the check, or it would be taken out of the employee, David Walter's paycheck. I assured them that I would. Walters then proceeded to call the insurance company along with his manager, Jeff Pena on the phone. I had to make a call to the insurance company regarding payment for loss time and car rental disbursement. The claims examiner went on to tell me that David Walters had called her along with Jeff Pena and began swearing and calling her out of her name. They questioned her as to why they sent me the supplemental check and went on to tell her how wrong she was. She informed me how they ranted in rage on the phone. The check just so happened to come about fifteen minutes after this fiasco. I took the check to both Walters and Pena. I sat down with them, and of course they denied everything. So not only were they unprofessional, their mannerisms were unacceptable, and now they have lied. This center really needs to be shut down, from looking at the other reviews, not to mention the girl on the phones is very impatient and cannot handle to load of calls coming in. I am writing this review because people need to know what they are in for, when stepping into this collision center. This entire situation was a nightmare for me and I will never take my car to Camelback Toyota Collision Center.
