  • I can't think of one bad thing to say about LIB Fest, the organizers did an awesome job, which is remarkable in itself for year #2. There are more established festivals who could learn a thing (or 10) from these guys. 1. The weather was perfect! Sunny and warm all day. Even when night rolled around, it was a comfortable 75-80 degrees. 2. So much to see and do! Whether you wanted to look at art, dance your brains out, enjoy a cocktail, or just chill on a bench, no one could complain about a lack of options. 3. Not too crowded! Never once did I feel like a sardine in a can. Plenty of opportunities to get up close to the stage and see your favorite artists. 4. Lineup that rivaled any other big name fest across the US. Outkast, Broken Bells, Jenny Lewis, Holy Ghost, A-Trak... The list goes on. 5. Getting to hang out at Atomic Liquors right outside the perimeter and getting unlimited "in and out" privileges" all weekend. And no, that wasn't a VIP perk! 6. Good food from local restaurants. 7. Being able to park 2-3 blocks away and not have to wait for hours in some random lot miles away to get home. 8. Plenty of nightlife to enjoy after the last act finishes around midnight. 9. Even if you didn't partake, gotta love those Dancetronauts. You know what I'm talking about... 10. Such a diverse crowd! Everything from soccer moms to goth kids to hipsters and stoners. Everyone was in good spirits and fairly polite. Though my old lady bones were tired from 3-days of walking around and staying out too late, it was a pretty memorable Vegas weekend. Well played, boys, well played.
