  • Fabulous family-owned and operated establishment in the heart of Mt. Lebanon. The Saloon is a staple amongst so many that have grown up in the South Hills and continues to be for next generations to come. The warm atmosphere, extensive drink selection, mounted TVs, cleanliness, and unlimited fresh popcorn are just some of the reasons this is the best local sports bar in and around the South Hills. It's always bustling with people, and for good reason. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, even amongst the sea of people this place brings in they are quick to serve you and your party. I truly always feel at "home" here - take a look around, at any given time you'd be hard-pressed not to see a large family or local familiar face. They offer a full menu of standard American bar food including tons of appetizers, wings, pizza, burgers, salads, and various hot sandwiches. I've had to modify my food orders on several occasions, omit the cheese, add in some extra vegetables, and it's never been a problem! Food always comes out piping hot and with their ever expanding and rotating craft beer list, there's no shortage of beverages to pair with a nice meal. The food menu has everything you need and at good prices. Beer is always fresh and ice cold, with some awesome Happy Hour specials ($5 craft beer, $3 Yuengling cannot be beat!!). Open seven days a week until 2 AM, the kitchen closes around midnight most days, making it the perfect spot for late-night eats. On top of great local beers they have a full bar selection of wine, liquor, and some awesome mix-ins for cocktails. Inside it's got the charm of a rustic old tavern, with dark-hued wood and stained glass. You'll find tons of high-top tables around the circumference of the bar, and in the warmer months the rooftop patio is the place to be! Get there early to grab a table for your party. There's even a bar and bathrooms on the roof, making it the perfect place to soak up the warm weather and kick back with a cold one. Keep your eyes out for rotating specials throughout the weeks as well. Overall awesome friendly neighborhood sports bar with everything you could need to have a great time with family and friends, catch the game, or unwind after a long day.
