AT&T phone bills became horribly expensive: the old tv broke and we got a new one with HD: plus I had wireless installed for my laptop. All of these factors convinced me to "bundle and save" with Time Warner Cable. So far the service people have been pleasant and we're saving a lot on bills. However, the cable is down a LOT: often we can get only local stations and after a storm last month it took almost 2 days to get any of the 3 services back. For the first month I had an ongoing problem with the cable refusing to change channels, but they finally got that fixed. Currently there have been no storms in our area, yet all the Showtime channels have been unavailable for a week now, and the news channels I like: CNN and MSNBC: are elusive. I don't know what the problem is: maybe there are not enough TWC customers in our zip code to have good connections? I'll probably rethink this contract at the end of the year, and see what new deal AT&T is offering.
