How is this place getting a 4 star?
First off, the staff is very nice. I have nothing against them and I'm strictly comparing my room escape experience with a dozen other escape rooms. With that being said, I have only done 2 rooms at this place. I can't remember the name of the first one but it's the hospital/lab one. And the other is Death Note.
After completing the hospital/lab escape room, we were immediately disappointed with how small the room was. We also didn't like how the room was not linear (some people may not mind this). There was also a lot of puzzle on the computer that essentially one 1, maybe 2 people can do...so what do the rest of us do? We couldn't move on until each computer puzzle was complete. So perhaps we should have gone in with 2, maybe 3 people instead. Note to self.
As for Death Note, it was a neat concept having to put everything away the way we found it. It was a fairly simple room is you know the anime from what I could see. There was also a computer here.
Overall, I did not like this place. The puzzles were not linear, and the room was an ok size but they did not maximize the space they had. SPOILER ALERT, a briefcase sitting in a walk in closet space? That's it. Nothing else. Why not through other clues in there? Or decor? I don't know. Not too many props. No fancy engineering/tech. There wasn't much excitement factor. I'm sure this place is great for beginners though...perhaps?
