| - Again, for me, it's a great place. I haven't had the same experience as some of the other reviewers. I get pedicures here every few months as a treat, and they have always done a great job. It is very relaxing. They spend a lot of time massaging your feet and legs.
The staff, yes, has English as their second language. I have been to other nail spas that have the same situation, and they talk and laugh in a foreign language constantly, like that episode on Seinfeld. The other spa staff's attitude generally ranges from mildly to extremely rude. Also, at other spas, I felt like I was being tortured. I have also had some serious cleanliness concerns at other spas.
Not at Vincent's. On the rare occasion they hurt me, I say something right away, they apologize and stop. They are super polite and try very hard to speak English to me. I even had a whole session with the whole staff having me teach them words! It was fun. Even though I only go in every few months, they remember me.
I've had 2 manicures there--no gel, just polish for a party--not meant to last long. They did a beautiful job.
It is a humble place--not too fancy, but it is clean, relaxing and something I look forward to.
