  • Every time I've been in the South West over the last 10 years our family has gone with Cox. But the data cap restriction and the inability to stop them from charging you overage fees versus just stopping the data signal (in case for instance something is streaming that you aren't aware of like a child) have forced us to start looking at competition for the first time. It appears for the price I'd have to pay for unlimited Cox data at the current speed I get will net me unlimited data with a rival provider in my area. I'm not a fan of having my home internet turned into a cellphone data style plan.
