Crew Collective & Café is a very impressive venue, an old bank with high vaulted ceilings revamped into a coffee shop slash free working space slash exclusive paid working space. The place feels vast and fancy, a venue where any freelance ought to feel comfortable working or hosting a meeting, unless of course you prefer a more recluse and cozy spot (I'm guilty), in which case a shared space like this probably isn't the best choice for you.
As a regular customer, I had the opportunity to try their coffee (latte) and croissant, both of which were good. Unfortunately the kitchen was closed, but I was informed the café serves food until 5PM. Good to know! The service was courteous and timely.
If I were to come back to Crew Collective and Café, it would be for the ambiance and probably to impress a prospect or client during a meeting. I can't help but feel there's a lack of soul and dedication in the place; it is grand and it is beautiful, but it doesn't make you feel safe and warm, a feeling I often associate with smaller independent coffee shops.
It's still overall a nice place and I would recommend it.
