| - I called in and made an appointment for two people at 430pm for the next day. That in itself took a minute of struggle, but I still gave it a shot. We needed to get nails done for my sister in law's sweet 15 and we had so much to do, I had hoped that an appointment would guarantee us to leave in and hour or hour and a half at the most. Man was I wrong.
We showed up 15 minutes early for our appointments and they sat my sister in law down at a station first. She shows them a picture of what she wants and immediately they scoff at the picture, implying that it was impossible to duplicate. That should have been my cue for us to leave...
Anyway, they attempt to do the design for her and sit me with another nail tech. She's putting on some nails, and 4(!!) nails in she says, "I have a long time client coming in to get a nail repaired in a few minutes. I'm going to fix it for her it shouldn't take too long." She didn't give me much of a choice but to deal with it as she got up with her tools in the middle of my SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT.
15 minutes later she comes over and asks me to go sit with another tech so I wouldn't wait anymore. I was livid but what choice did I have but to hope they finished.... thankfully Esmeralda was super nice and super fast. She did an okay job, but I wish the nails were closer to the beginning of my nails as 4 days later I already needed a fill. I didn't ask for anything complicated, just one color and some glitter nail polish on two nails of each hand. But she used glitter on all of my nails.... oh well I'll live.
When my nails were done (mind you I was started on over 30 mins after my sister in law) my sister in law was still getting her nails done!!!! She had 3 techs hovering over her treating her like some experiment. Nobody could replicate simple swirls on ONE NAIL.
Her face was one of pure misery. I wanted her to get pampered on her special day, instead they criticized her design choice and laughed as they swapped chairs trying to draw on her nails. Finally I had it, and asked them to do whatever it was that they were capable of drawing, which was mediocre....
I paid $130 for two full sets with gel polish.... are you FREAKING KIDDING ME?!?! And THREE HOURS WITH AN APPOINTMENT FOR TWO PEOPLE...
They charged extra for glitter polish, extra for stones per nail, extra for gel, extra for design. The only reason I give them two stars is for Esmeralda and her good humor.
I will NEVER go back.
