Ive purchased and leased many BMW's over the years. My purchasing experience here was what I have come to expect from BMW dealers. Courteous, helpful and easy.
But its AFTER the sale where a dealership is really put to the test. And that is where BMW of Westlake has failed miserably.
Everything I paid for or was promised during the sales process has been almost impossible to get. I paid for an extended warranty that took over 6 months of repeated phone calls and emails to get completed. They took my money at the time of sale and did nothing for months. Now a year and a half after I bought my car I got a nail in my tire and the dealership by my home told me I have no warranty on the wheels and tires. I was told when I bought the car it had the wheel and tire coverage until 2018.
I have send several emails and made phone calls to resolve this and have gotten zero response from anyone who can help me. So its the same thing over again that I delt with the first time. No interest in assisting with follow through.
So if you plan on purchasing from here beware they have no back end follow through here. They are only concerned with getting the sale and what happens after that is not anything they care about.
My sales person Tom was a great guy, but the fact he works for such a un-reputable dealership means my next BMW will surely be purchased somewhere else.
