  • If you have a huge ego and feel the need to be treated like garbage this is the club for you! The overall theme is not bad at least when you first walk in. It has a speak easy vibe but that leaves the moment you walk into the actual club. The first thing you will notice is this huge tree that brings you back to your days as a child as rainforest cafe. Drinks are a joke. Not sure if my vodka redbulls actually had any vodka in them. Also shots are legit served in a plastic cup you would get ketchup in from Burger King (dine in only) For a club there is no actual dance floor. They make up for the lack of said floor by having storm trooper esque figures come out with lasers attached to their fingers. If that doesn't impress you enough then the fact that they have 3 DJs playing premixed music might! Seriously it sounded like I was listening to a sample album on iTunes...every 30 seconds was another mixed song while the DJ's flailed around the stage that could hardly fit one person. To top it off one of the three DJ's will start spraying the crowd with a CO2 blaster. Honestly this club is the definition of a cliche. I'm kinda surprised they weren't throwing cake at the crowd. The staff was beyond rude and scoffed at every person making a drink order...this one always surprises me as you chose a job in the service industry and this is where you make your money. A bonus is that there seemed to be more staff (wearing trashy donut shirts)than people. For a second I thought I was in some NYC millennial Kristy Creme. With that being said if you have the urge to be treated rudely all you have to do is turn to your right or left it's actually quite convenient. When ever I go into a club my first impression is "are all the booths full". For magnolia this would be a "No". One side of the "VIP" area was packed with people and struck me as a fire hazard. To the left of the DJ their largest booth sat empty all night and the other 2 had maybe had 3-4 people in them. For only having so few booths I was astounded at how many times a titos inflatable cake and sparklers came out to amp up the VIP area. Along with the cake and sparklers the shot girls also carried emoji signs that looked like my 3 year old cousin cut out with plastic safety scissors. ***a huge bonus to this club is that the front of house staff didn't care who was coming in the door. While waiting for the rest of my group in the "coffee shop" not one person was carded. Once my group arrived and we waited for our wristbands again no one was carded including multiple underage people in front of us as well as our own group. Won't be going back. CLE you can do better
