So I would like to call myself some sort of doughnut connoisseur. I need to try all the doughnuts in all of the places. Seriously.
Anyways - I was spending the day in the Port Credit area and decided to look up and see if there were any doughnut places nearby. Because why the heck not?! Daddy O's came up right away and had some good reviews so I decided that I needed to see for myself.
Upon arrival, the parking is limit and the place itself is quite tucked away and small! How were people supposed to find the delicious doughnuts easily!? Luckily I was with an expert GPS master and we successfully pulled in to find Daddy O's.
The decor is very 50's diner like, and I love the soft blues and pinks. Really cute decor and the logo on the wall is adorable. It doesn't really match the outside of the building but whatever - I was there for the main attraction - the doughnuts!
There were lots of flavours to choose from - anything from more plain to really extravagant! We opted for a box of 6 to go. While we were choosing and waiting to be rung in I checked out all of the British sweets and drinks. I like this feature - especially for anyone specifically looking for the British treats, but it really didn't peak my interest as I honestly just wanted the doughnuts (haha!).
Prices are reasonable I would say, for the amount and the quality of the goods you receive. We took our doughnuts home and shared each one so the fiance and I could try each kind. We literally ate them all in one sitting (sharing of course). Each flavour was so unique and different, they all didn't taste the same like some doughnuts that look different do. My one star off is because some of the flavours were a tad more greasy than I would have liked. This can happen with doughnuts being deep friend sometimes - I get it!
Overall, if I am in the area again I will be checking out the flavours here, that is for sure! I enjoy watching on social media the different flavours they create. Great job Daddy O's!
