  • Six months ago, I would have given this place 3 stars. I went today 11-9-15 just to kill some time before I had to pick up my prescriptions and I was blown away....they have renovated! I could not believe my eyes. Everything was different, organized, clean, and looked brand new. Everything! I am so happy to see this place get an upgrade. The shoe section is huge now, the electronics section has been re-vamped and moved, the gun counter moved and got bigger, and the men's clothing doubled in space. The children's clothing moved to where the purses used to be...you get the idea. Yes, it's tax free, but they don't carry cheap items. You want a plain white t-shirt? Well all they have is a white Michael Kors t-shirt and it's $56. Ooooh but it's such a good deal because it's $64 at the Michael Kors store...whoop a dee doo. It's not just this BX, though. That's how they all are. And, like all AAFES and DECA stores, every employee is a 60-year-old Filipino lady with a very thick accent. It makes it very hard to understand their announcements over the intercom or get any assistance from them. I'm very pleased to see the changes they have made. It might actually be worth going here now.
