Sears Auto Ctr manager and staff here need a lot more training. Do not entrust your car to them.
I checked in my Honda minivan with wiggling steering wheel and tires, after I accidentally hit the curb and went up the sidewalk last week.
When I checked out my van at the end of the day IT WAS WORSE THAN BEFORE, after spending $330 for alignment and ball joint replacement.
Violently wiggling. Unsafe to drive. I carefully drove it back to their shop.
"Why are you giving me an unsafe car to drive home?", I asked. It's obvious nobody test drove it! It's way worse than before!
They said because my wheels are bent and dented, causing the violent wiggling.
I never knew that until I found out myself driving on the road. I expected a safe, smooth-driving car turned over to me!
There were arguments. But it was useless talking to these kids.
I drove my van slowly to Honda the next day. Changed front tires, rechecked the suspension, test drove it. Fine.
And I live happily everafter.
(Don't use Sears Auto service. They will give you a headache! ...If not kill you! )
PS: The manager was also trying to convince me to have my front struts assembly replaced too (at a discount)
Honda checked it. Whoaa! There was nothing wrong with the struts! Ha ha!
