  • There should be a negative star rating for how bad CSI Cleaning is I used them 3 or 4 times, willing to give them several chances, and they never came close to doing anything right. The first time I had them come over was literally the only time they were ever on time. The maids did a great job when they were here, but instead of a carpet steam cleaner somebody with an air duct cleaner showed up. I had to call later to get the steam cleaners to come by a few days later. The next time the service was supposed to be from 2 PM to 4 PM. I got a call at 2:20 saying they were in the building but somehow were on the wrong floor. I called the front desk and they said they could see the maids in the elevator but it wasn't until 2:50 that they arrived. I explained that the bathrooms and kitchen were to be fully cleaned but the other rooms (living room, both bedrooms) were only to be vacuumed. They asked if they had to move anything and I said no, just vacuuming only, do not touch anything else. After about 30 minutes I notice one maid picking things up off the coffee table in the living room and I say "please don't do that, just vacuum only". Not only does she continue to move things on the table and clean the table, but I later found out that she took a special cleaning cloth that was on the table and is meant to be used to clean electronics and was using it to clean the stove. Also I was told their vacuum was broken and they wanted to use mine. Mine doesn't work, so instead they just attempted to use theirs. They only spent 90 minutes of the 2 hours and were not willing to get a working vacuum even when I asked. After contacting CSI directly I was given this reply, and I'm quoting, "they did confirm their understanding to your requests but could not explained why they didn?t follow it." I was not given a refund for what I paid, but they would take $15 off the next time. I called them again and got service, making sure that the same maids that came before would not be coming. They were extremely late, so much so that I eventually had to reschedule for a different day after they failed to show up after about 2 hours or so. When I told the scheduling people that they could come on a future day as long as they were on time they acknowledged it but they were again about an hour late on a later day. The most recent time I scheduled them to come on Thursday and it was the same song and dance. They didn't show up until long after they were supposed to be here. I finally got a call a good hour or so from security asking if they could be let up and I said yes. 20 minutes passed and nothing, so I called CSI and they told me that the maids had not used the correct entrance so they'd take a little longer to get here. There is a service entrance that is clearly marked and CSI probably sends maids to this building every day. Another 30 minutes go by and still nothing so I call CSI again and they say the maids could not find the service entrance so they "had to be escorted off the property" (CSI's staff words). What in the world could possibly be the problem here? Why wasn't I informed of this until I called? Eventually they said they'd try to send another team over when they were done, but this likely would have occurred a full 4 or 5 hours after the time they were initially supposed to show up. I rescheduled for the next day at 11 AM on the condition that they absolutely had to be there on time because I had people coming over shortly thereafter. They said instead of 11 AM it would be 11 to 11:30 AM and I said that was fine. 11:30 comes and they are not here. Apparently they are cleaning some other place in the same building and should only be 30 minutes longer. Fine, noon comes and they still aren't here. I call and they say they will find out what's going on and call me back. I don't hear anything for 20 minutes and call them back and get no answer. By the way, their phone message literally says you cannot leave a message for them at all. What's the point? I call every number on their website and every number they have called me from. They have a 24 hour emergency number that nobody answers and you get the same message as the main line. I literally called twice a minute for 40 minutes until I got someone. I was told they still don't know where the maids are or what they're doing or why they aren't here. I call back a bit later and chew out the owner and tell him not to bother sending anyone. The maids show up at 2:30 (4.5 hours after they should have been here) and I tell them don't bother. Stay far away from CSI Cleaning. The cleaning staff and office staff seem to be grossly incompetent, negligent, and don't seem to care about their customers or the job they do. I've never been treated so bad by a company in all my life. I hope they go bankrupt and I'm trying to do everything in my power to get the word out so everyone knows how abysmal they are.
