  • Do NOT come to this banfield; or any for that matter. I recently moved back to LV and my pup had run out of his allergy medicine which causes him to get yeast infections in one of his ears. Mind you he's 2 years old about to be 3. Before this banfield I took him to one in Charlotte, NC where Dr. Goodnight(or moonlight?) was extremely amazing with him. She's the only one who will actually give him the meds he needs! I told the doctor all I needed was a refill on his apoquel and mometamax to treat his ear infection. Of course the first suggestion from the doctor is she can't do that unless she has run some tests. For 2 years my dog has been poked with needles, given various medicines, switched to expensive food diets, grooming appointments, etc. I told her all she needed to do was review his file where it would show her he takes apoquel and mometamax for all of his past ear infections. I'm sorry but I refuse to spend money on more ear testing when all of the ones he's taken come back with the SAME DIAGNOSIS. I even told her to contact his last vet because I'm tired of him being poked and pricked. I ended up leaving with his apoquel and some ear cleanser she recommended; now to the problem. The ear cleanser she recommended has made his whole left ear scab and turn to a yellow/ish dry scab substance!!!! I understand doctors want to make recommendations but I'm HIS OWNER and I've been with this with him through 3 years now!!! Don't come here as all they do everytime is just try to take more money out of your pocket and not care for the animals. My pup is slowly recovering with other ailments thanks to an ACTUAL PROFESSIONAL who instead of trying to make more money out of me actually takes care of him. Not to mention your so called "vet" who saw him said she's an expert on skin and wanted me to take him to another dermatologist for more money. I already spent $300 on an allergy kit and know his allergies and which medications work for him. Seriously, don't waste your time here.
