| - Not a vegan, but I observe when traveling with my vegan brother. We stopped by this place on the way back home to California. I still eat at In-N-Out, so I hope it means something coming from me that this place is a worthy alternative.
I had their version of the Double Double, which tasted pretty close to the real deal. The texture of the patty was different, but not bad. Their special sauce also tasted much like In-N-Out's, but was a little runny. Not a huge deal, just a bit messier when dipping fries. They also have equally great non-In-N-Out food like popcorn chicken, curly fries, and wraps.
Finally, the biggest deal for me as a non-vegan who still eats vegan food from time to time, the price! It costs pretty much the same as the non-vegan food they're emulating, without sacrificing flavor. So if you're generally on the fence about vegan food because of the price, this is the place for you.
I really think this place could take off as THE vegan In-N-Out and hope to see them maybe open up a place in CA!
