  • We recently had our backyard relandscaped and we needed new patio furniture to finish it off. We'd looked at a bunch of different places: Today's Patio, Paddy O' Furniture, All American Outdoor Living, Discount Patio, etc. The furniture looked nice, but to get good quality it was so expensive! We were getting ready to pull the trigger on some Tropitone furniture that was nice but really pricey, when we figured we'd try one more Internet search and see if there were some other places we could check out. That's when we spotted Arizona Iron Furniture. We liked that they were a local company and we thought it was cool that they constructed everything here. We figured we had put enough time into the search that a trip into Phoenix was not that big of an investment, especially considering what we were going to be paying. When we got there, we immediately felt like we had found the place where we were going to buy. It's not much to look at, but Jeremiah took us around and showed us our options, and let us know that we would be able to pretty much customize almost every part of our furniture. It turned out that the custom curved love seat, two club chairs, a small table and lots of pillows was going to cost around half what the same set up (without all the pillows) would cost at the other places for quality furniture. The furniture is going to be a bit heavier because it is made of steel rather than aluminum, but that actually seems like a plus given that Arizona is not known for its moist climate and rust problems. Jeremiah took us for a tour of their fabrication facility. It was truly amazing: these guys start with steel tubing, cushion material and Sunbrella fabric and turn it into beautiful patio furniture. It was really neat seeing the stages that the furniture goes through, with every bit of the work except powder coating the finished frames done right there in house. And even more amazing is that the lead time for their 100% custom furniture is shorter than at the other guys just to get different fabric for the cushions. And did I mention they do all this for much less than the out of town companies?! We signed on the dotted line that day after weeks of looking and are happy as can be. We spent the last couple weeks trying to pick out fabric and once again Jeremiah helped us out. Yesterday, we finalized our fabric selections and added a couple brand new lounge chairs to our order. We are still waiting for our furniture, so I can't post photos, but I will update this review when it arrives. I am confident that it will look great.
