I go to Sporting Life primarily during the winter months. As a skier, I purchase most of my equipment from them and have it serviced here. On both fronts, I can't complain.
I also have a normal day job so I can't usually get out to SL until the evening or weekend. This usually means that I'm competing with large families who know little about their sport they're looking to get their child into, who monopolize every single staff member in the store. Last week when I went to pick up my skis I had to wait for about 20 minutes before finally being serviced by a manager who saw how p.o.'ed I looked. This was already in addition to the 30 minutes i spent waiting for a parking spot in their tiny lot.
Prices are slightly above average - but I get a discount so I can't complain. in the end though, if you need good service and good parking, I'd recommend Skis and Bikes.
