  • Comfortable lounge seating, tasty food, friendly wait staff, and it is a very bad idea to be late for your reservation. I stumbled upon Lagasse's Stadium with some of my friends awhile back when we were here for CES. We all really liked the ambiance and the many televisions with various sports game on, except the place was such a mad house it was impossible to get a seat and order food. Fast forward a few years... I decided to come down and check it out the place and catch whatever game happened to be on (Red Socks vs Blue Jays), although I should have waited and try to watch the Giants game (which was on one of the small screens). Trying to make a reservation on Open Table was a total no-go, as I tried various days and time combinations and the system essentially told me that there were no open tables within 2.5 hr of my desired reservation time. I then tried calling the restaurant directly and was able to get a reservation for anytime before 4:30pm. OpenTable must have had a glitch - technology 0, friendly hostess that answered the phone 1! I arrived early, but the place was still relatively deserted so I would have been able to get a place to sit even without a reservation. The menu is pretty simple, appetizers, burgers, pizzas, steaks and seafood. I opted for the Grilled Ribeye, but the kitchen substituted the Stacked "Brew City" Onion Rings with Roasted Garlic Smashed Potatoes and Grilled Asparagus. I didn't realized it at the time, but I think I ended up with better sides for my Main Event selection. The Grilled Ribeye was tasty, and a nice juicy medium rare, and maybe the best item on the entire menu even at $30. I also ended up getting a Chocolate Shake and Chocolate Chip Cookies. It felt like a good ten minute had passed before the dessert was finally brought out. But the cookies were warm and the chocolate chips were nice and gooey. Service was friendly, but perhaps understaffed. I think only one waiter and busser/backup was on the clock when I arrived, and two more gals "clocked in" by the time I was waiting for my bill. Needless to say there were no auto-refills, until I placed my dessert order and asked for the refill. Overall, I like Lagass's Stadium and the food it serve. Dessert menu was very limited (just 4 items) and seems an afterthought. But as a place to hangout and watch the popular games, especially during prime time, I think I will pass. $100 minimum food and beverage minimum is steep for the privilege of parking my rear end on their lounge seats during a NFL game. Seating options: lounge or traditional table or at the bar. Food: 3.5/5 My ribeye was good, dessert shake was okay. Features your typical sports bar menu of hot wings, burgers, fries, pizza, and that grilled ribeye! The menu options are not terribly exciting and dare I say just a wee bit blasé. Service: 3.5/5 Friendly, but a bit shorthanded when I patronized the slick sportsbar/restaurant. Parking: 4/5 I generally have not had issues with parking here, so knock on wood and hope my luck continues. Atmosphere: varies, depending on the time and game that is televised on the main projectored screen. Value: 3/5 Basically paying the typical Strip premium overall. So if you are seeking value then this is not for you (although it is not outrageously bad), but if you are here for the convenience and rowdy crowd on game day, make a reservation and come on time! 3.5 stars!
