rev:text	I was staying at the Venetian and received a 20% off coupon at check-in, so I just had to check this place out. The restaurant has an elegant yet modern feel with some light mood music with a nice beat playing in the background. I was seated on a leather bench that was very comfortable. After perusing the menu, I opted for the three course prix fixe meal for $48. For the appetizer, I chose the salmon rillettes, the coq au vin for the entrée and the pistachio-cherry sundae. The salmon rillettes was very refreshing and delicate. The smooth texture of the spread was married well to the bread-cracker, but it would have been nice to have more of them, since the one small cracker was not ample to enjoy the rillettes to the fullest. The coq au vin was well executed and the chicken had the fall-off-the bone quality and the dish just tasted great. I finished with the cherry sundae which was mainly positive. The ice cream was not overwhelmingly sweet and there were some nice textural treats with the pistacchios and hard cookie. The marshmallows were a bit too chewy for me and I would have preferred some sweetness with the cherries as they were predominantly sour. My waitress was very cute with her French accent and she had a nice smile and we engaged in pleasant conversation. The wait staff were very friendly as well and were prompt in refilling my water glass and clearing the table after each course. One thing to note is that the presentation of all of the dishes were superb and after the coupon, I felt I had great value with the meal costing less than $60 including tip and a beverage.
