We decided to stop in to La Cave for a small early dinner before our red eye flight back east. We chose this spot because I read that they did small plates and it seemed somewhat tapas style. While the place certainly isn't Spanish tapas, but they did have a nice mix to choose from. We went with the 3 meat and 3 cheese board for about $35. Upon first impression I thought this was insanely expensive, but in reality they gave us a ton of meat and cheese. It ended up being a full meal for the two of us plus a smores pizza for dessert (amazing). Drink wise, they were expensive but on par for Vegas.
As for the decor, I thought it was a pretty cool looking restaurant. The back room was dark and definitely set up to host small or large parties. They also had a nice covered back deck area to eat outside. It was a little too warm for the outside when we went, but I could see that being a good place to hang.
As for the service, it was a little slow in the beginning, but our waitress was very nice.
