  • This studio never ceases to blow my mind. Now, I know what you're going to say...."Jennifer, did you ever really have a mind to begin with?" Yes. Yes I did. And it was blown away by Something Different. It looks, from the exterior like the usual kitschy sort of place that your mother might take you, but it is far more than that. The art is local and gorgeous, the glass work will make your jaw drop, and the little odd and ends for home decor will make you squeal and jump up and down where you stand, clap your hands, and grin like a fool. On the downside, the prices will make you pinch your pennies for weeks until you can afford what you want (or you may, like me, just come and visit your favorite paintings until someone buys them and you feel like someone kidnapped your best friend). The owner is really what seals the deal on this place. She has a memory like an elephant, is the most gracious woman I've quite possibly ever met, and treats my sister and I like we just pulled up outside in a chauffeured Rolls-Royce and body guards. I've bought lots of little home decor items here, mostly as presents (and all on the lower end of the price scale), but if I ever win the lottery, this is the place that will decorate my home.
