  • I'm only commenting on the hibachi aspect of the restaurant, I'm ignorant about sushi so I've always been hesitant to try much. Shiki isn't quite on the level of a Kabuto's or Nakato's where they prepare the food in front of you, but you're not paying a premium for the show either, so it sorta balances out. The food was awesome, and you get a ton of it for the money. The hibachi chicken was juicy and flavorful, and the shrimp sauce is on the high end of the spectrum IMO. But maybe the best part of all was the service. I'll grant you I went for an early lunch at about 11:30 so it wasn't too crowded, but I had my food in front of me about five minutes after I sat down. Honestly, it was so quick, I was almost afraid the food was leftover or something. But everything was hot and fresh. Great spot if you need to get in and out for lunch.
