On Wednesday, January 19, I called and requested a cab pick up for Thursday the 20th and 4:30 pm in order to catch a megabus at 10th and penn downtown. I was attempting to get home that evening in order to attend a family funeral. The customer service rep took my request and read back my information and the time for my pick up to confirm. All information was correct. At 4:40 when the cab still had not arrived, I called to see if it had dispatched yet. The woman answering the phone informed me that were no requests for that time. I gave her my phone number and address and she said that request has been put in for the 21. She also said she had no other available cabs to send me. I am without a car in Pittsburgh so I called a few other cab companies which were all busy with requests made earlier in the day. As a result I missed my bus and have to get another bus tomorrow morning. I lost $10 for my bus ticket this evening and will now pay an additional $35 for a bus early tomorrow morning. I will also be missing a portion of the funeral services. So thanks for nothing Classy Cab.
