  • This facility is unbelievably fantastic (and I went to the old facility a few times). If there is one thing that I would highly recommend is their web site. Amazing! A wealth of information. I picked six dogs to view and did. The staff was beyond helpful! I chose an eight year-old dog who had been there two months and was dropped off by the former owners because she was "too much trouble" and they couldn't handle it. This is the EASIEST dog I have ever had. Of course, the former owners turned her in when she was pregnant. In eight years she had never seen a veterinarian. So ask to see the form and don't believe it all! UPDATE - I called the Humane Society and left a message that I lost her paperwork in my move and was going to board her in three days... can they look up by my name and her license number the information and fax it or mail it? A staff member immediately called me back and had my dogs information RIGHT in FRONT of her as we spoke. She said she could fax it now or mail it tomorrow morning and the veterinarian there would sign off on it. THEN she asked me how my dog was? Now that is customer service and concerned, responsible folks. I'd give them six stars if I could.
